Elm Creek Quilts: New Years Quilt by

Jennifer Chiaverini

Read Jennifer's new Elm Creek novel, The New Year's Quilt, to learn how her characters inspired the designs in this collection. The prints include a wintry floral that's set on pine boughs, holly leaves, and berries, a small toile winter scene, sprays of pine needles and berries, snowflakes, stars, circles, swirls, and a plaid. These prints are just right for pieced winter and holiday quilts and table runners with appliquéd floral accents.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle now in FABRIC.

In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf." So begins Eric Carle's classic, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". This book and now fabric follows the ravenous caterpillar's path as he eats his way through one apple (and the pages of the book itself) on Monday, two pears on Tuesday, three plums on Wednesday, and so on, through cherry pie and sausage - -until he is really fat and has a stomachache -- I bet you can guess what happens then!  Now you can see Eric's wonderful artistry in fabric.
